Paul McAleer
Principal
Paul brings a wealth of experience from his 20 years in the planning, design and property development industry. Paul has worked extensively in both public and private practice, managing major planning projects and facilitating development both here in Australia and overseas. Paul has a highly successful track record in delivering complex planning projects from early feasibility through to planning approval and has also had good success at VCAT and Planning Panel.
Paul has held senior private consultancy positions at Roberts Day and Keen Planning Services, and more recently as an associate director at Meinhardt. He is also the former planning manager at the Whitehorse City Council. UK experience includes development manager roles with English Partnerships (now known as the Homes and Communities Agency) and the London Borough of Sutton.
With a focus on infill projects ranging from medium density and boutique apartment developments up to major mixed-use high-rise projects that are now reshaping the Box Hill and Melbourne CBD skylines, Paul has also managed broad hectare strategic plans, environmental, infrastructure, retirement/ aged care, student accommodation, retail, commercial, industrial, heritage and open space projects.
